stack and whack quilt

Here is one of the photos of the stack and whack quilt. 

Here is a couple of the other blocks as you can see when sewn back together they make some lovely patterns. I love the first one best so far.
I have another 6 or so to finish putting together and than add the finishing touches to make it into a quilt. Stay tuned for more photos.

    this is the first time I have made one also Barb, but it is fun. Make sure that your fabric is 44inches wide tho, mine turned out to be 43inches so I had to do some fancy cutting to make it work. The pattern I got off the net states to cut your fabric in half so you have 2 x 22in x 12 1/2 inch and you than cut your squares out of this. I couldn't do it that way as I said my fabric width wasn't the 44inches. I still think it is coming together nicely.
